Award-winning documentary filmmaker, Craig Forrest, has traveled to 159 countries and 6 continents for such clients as CBS, ABC, Discovery Channel, A&E, Animal Planet, PBS, Fox Sports, Travel Channel, HBO, Billy Graham, World Vision, Samaritan's Purse, Far East Broadcasting and many others.
His media projects have won or been nominated for 29 film festival, television or video awards including a Cine Golden Eagle, plus multiple Telly, Aurora, Videographer, Aegis and Communicator trophies. Recently, Craig was part of the production team for The Amazing Race (Season 14), which won the 2009 Primetime EMMY for Best Reality Competition.
He has covered subjects as diverse as voodoo, Santeria, tribal warfare, sex trafficking, Islamic terrorism, famine, poverty, demonic possession and the supernatural. Over 200 overseas assignments have flung him into hot spots such as Iraq, Cuba, Burundi, the Congo, El Salvador, Palestine, Cambodia, Vietnam, Uganda, Haiti, Burma, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Chad, Bosnia & Kosovo. He has produced stories on-location in 108 countries.
Passionate about inspiring a young generation to harness the power of media production to further the Gospel, Craig has become a frequent speaker at TV & media conferences throughout Europe, Africa, Asia & Latin America. Most recently, he has served as an Adjunct Professor of Media Production at Pepperdine University (Malibu, CA), Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA) & Concordia University (Irvine, CA).
